OUR STORY

OUR STORY

Karma (कर्म) translates to action or deed, while Kaari (कारी) refers to the art of creating together they express mindful living with intention and awareness.

KarmaKaari was born from a simple intention - to create a way of living rooted in oneness with self and the environment.

At its core it is a return to the understanding that we are not separate from the world around us, but deeply connected to it.

It is the art of living as one with complete awareness of oneself and one’s surroundings, recognising that the future is shaped by the actions we take in the present moment, both on and off the mat.

Founded by Neena Rath, a yogini at heart and a designer by training, KarmaKaari is shaped by a life lived across cultures, from the Himalayas to Europe and now the Irish coast. These journeys revealed a shared rhythm beneath perceived differences, shaping her view of yoga as a way of living with intention and awareness. Today, that perspective finds form in simple tools designed to ground and reconnect us with nature and self. As a mother of two and a student of Vedanta, Neena's understanding of yoga moves beyond the mat to simplify, to live mindfully and to recognise the inherent connection between all things regardless of place.

KarmaKaari is a celebration of oneness, reimagined through a conscious lens inspired by both India and Ireland, carrying forward the essence of mindful living.

It is a dialogue between two lands, inspired by the quiet strength of Ireland’s natural landscapes and the depth of India’s spiritual heritage, both honouring nature, ancient wisdom and the sacred harmony of all life.

Rooted in this sensibility, our products are developed in India with natural materials like cotton, jute, wool, cork and wood, each piece reflects a balance of sustainability, craft and connection. Shaped by hands that carry the quiet imprint of time, skill and tradition and alive in its imperfection, it invites presence and a deeper connection to the product, self and the earth.

Each piece is designed to be used, cared for and experienced through generations carrying forward the stories of oneness and to the subtle awareness that binds them together.
